At Gilbert’s Hilton, we bake on site daily. You’ll often be greeted by the mouth-watering aroma of freshly baked bread, cakes, pastries, apple pies, strudels, and biscuits. And these are just some of our delicious house-made baked products.
Have you tried our sourdough bread? We bake this household favourite twice a day to ensure all our customers can enjoy a fresh sourdough loaf whenever they shop. Unlike commercial bread, it doesn’t last all week as it’s free of any nasty preservatives. We’ve been told this isn’t a problem as once arriving home; it never lasts long!
Our pâtissier, often seen busily mixing and piping through the window to his workspace, creates handmade baked goods, sure to satisfy any sweet desire. We have a range of gluten free options also available.
Pizza
Every night is pizza night at Gilbert’s with our authentic Italian pizzas. Catering to all tastes, our range includes all your classic favourites as well as a delicious range of premium pizza toppings.
Made fresh at our Gilbert’s Hilton kitchen, all that’s left to do is simply take home to cook and enjoy. If shopping at our Hilton store, there is also the option to have your pizza made up for you on the spot.
You can select your toppings of choice, and then we will bake it for you. Quick, easy, and delicious. Add a pre-made salad from our Deli Counter or rocket from our Fresh Produce Department, and dinner is sorted.
