Gold Kiwifruit Smoothie Bowl

A quick and easy breakfast or snack. You will thoroughly enjoy the addition of gold kiwifruit in both the smoothie and as a very pretty topping. Enjoy!

Serves 1

Ingredients

Smoothie:

½ avocado

1 fresh peeled gold kiwifruit

1 cup frozen strawberries

1 cup frozen banana pieces

2 large handfuls baby English spinach

½ cup of your favourite milk

Toppings:

1 tsp white chia seeds

1 tsp linseed

1 tbsp shredded coconut

1 tbsp flaked almonds

Fresh blueberries

Slices of fresh strawberries

Slices of fresh gold kiwifruit

Method:

Add all smoothie ingredients to a blender and blitz quickly until smooth.

You want a thick and creamy consistency but can add more milk if you want it slightly thinner.

Taste when blended and for more sweetness you could drizzle on some honey.

Pour into a bowl and add on your preferred toppings, suggestions above.

Nuts and seeds add a welcome crunchy texture, while the fresh fruit adds some great flavour and sweetness.
